"I have a house in Lymington which I used as a second home mainly for weekends and the summer holidays. Before finding Girl Friday, I found it very difficult to manage looking after the house when I was away. People who maintained the house or carried out the running repairs, would usually want to visit and carry out their work when I was away during the week, and if they were able to come at the weekend that's when I wanted the house to myself! Laura was able to stand in for me and meet with people at the house, either opening it up for them or attending while they were there. She was able to pay bills, check on post, look after the flowers as well as choose and buy house furnishings etc. She really was my right hand 'girl'.
