The company is owned and managed by Laura Bent who, together with the other Girl Friday Associates, form the available pool of highly experienced support staff.

I relocated from London to Lymington approx 5 years ago, and worked part time locally with the intention of creating my own company, to ultimately provide a range of business support services.

Prior to moving to Lymington I worked in London for many years within a large Japanese company, managing customer accounts, event and exhibition management and general budgetary planning within the European market.

The key objective for the Girl Friday Company is to create a recognised company, providing innovative business support solutions for companies within the New Forest and Southampton area. The company is building an experienced pool of associates with strong emphasis on customer service and team development.

Presently, the Girl Friday Company has 2 core activities.

The 1st core activity of the Girl Friday Company is 'pay as you go' staffing solutions. This service provides a cost effective alternative to permanent employment, ranging from half days to long term contracts. All associates who are available via the Girl Friday Company are personally interviewed by myself, and have skills ranging from general admin through to executive level.

The 2nd core activity of the Girl Friday Company is Lifestyle Services. Within this, we provide support to people with busy lives. Such as short term personal assistants, home services and special occasion and personal party organising.

My move from London to Lymington, has proved to be the best move ever. My favorites things include, brunch at the Vanilla Pod, Pimms at the Ship Inn, BBQ at the Mayflower, cycling along the coastal path and walking through the forest on a Sunday afternoon, knowing you don't have to drive back up the M3 to London!
